Hard to believe that Skywards/Emirates is still storing user passwords in plain text and sending it by eMail, too!

I could imagine that their DB could be a valuable target. Imagine what data they have stored all there: data mostly from business/frequently flyers, full contact details, family members, past and future journeys, etc.

Or did they already get hacked? That would explain why I get SPAM eMails now related to my stop in Dubai.
