A while ago you said you'll give some update on the browser and open sourcing situation. Is anything still going on?

Really? I thought it's stuck with ancient Gecko version, and IPClite project is dead. How do you know it's well updated?

See all related repos:
https://github.com/tmeshkova
They didn't have an update in a very long time already. Unless they all have been moved elsewhere?

In
2.0.4
the browser went to version 38, lot of improvements were made.

38 is ancient. Current Gecko is 50. The repo you linked is UI only. Actual engine is the same repos I linked above. And they are stagnant.

In fact, Mozilla engineers explicitly said, that IPC Emeblite is now dead. So I'm not really sure how Jolla can even continue the browser this way. What about security fixes in Gecko post 38? I somehow doubt anyone backports them.
