Open Labs Albania target elections


Albania will hold parliamentary elections on 18 June 2017. Free software groups have been organising similar campaigns across Europe, with the first being organised by April.org in France in 2007. A European-wide campaign for the European Parliament elections in 2014 was launched by April (France) as well, together with Assoli (Italy), Hispalinux (Spain), LAKA (Latvia) and the international free software groups Edri, FSF and FSFE.

@Daraf afaik they did have some discussion (I think on their mailing list) on whether they still have enough active people to continue existing; I don't know what the result was (I'm not a member), but it seems that it's not a case of useless association that takes people's money, but just a case of old association that did things in the past but didn't manage to get new active members and will die out slowly.
