Nice article, but please allow me to suggest some corrections:
If you don’t know what IRC is, ~~scroll to the bottom of this post.~~ wtf dude, get out of the hole you live in.
The truth is that a text based meeting especially in an environment like IRC can be intimidating at first and if you agree with this please stop reading and go back to 4chan now.
There is also the fact that not everyone uses IRC or knows how to use it, but once you get into the mindset that you need a keyboard to actually type whole sentences (and if you're still reading this) then you should be fine
Like for real guys, #mIRC has been around since 1995, I know the last few years of wazzap left many in a confusional state, but it's hard to imagine that people have never even heard of IRC!

Corporates, business people, investors, people in governments, bureaucrats -- Do you think this crowd would have known about IRC? I dont think so and in case you dont know they are the "main buyers" of Jolla not you or me or anyone in FOSS community who all know about IRC.
@Pavithran S they still are people like me and you even if they work for governments and stuff, you know ;) sometimes they live in a different world but for them to have never heard of IRC in its 20+ years of existence, or to be afraid of chats…
