Speaking of locales, any plans on adding input for Japanese? Hiragana and katakana at least? I'm also happy with a copy-paste solution!

Michele: Unfortunately we don't have any plans on that at the moment. A few community members however were doing something about it: https://together.jolla.com/question/876/japanese-input-method/

on that page they say the currently available solution has occasional crashes and requires openrepos, two reasons that make it a non-solution for me, unfortunately :/

Totally understandable.But unfortunately we currently do not have any further plans on that. Stay tuned as we surely will expand our input methods in the near future!
