All this #AI hate on Fedi makes me want to start a support group for people like me, who find the tech fascinating and useful. Sadly, all this hate probably discourages sensible people whilst tech bro yuppies have no such qualms.

@MikeE The question isn't whether it is fascinating or useful, but fascinating to whom, and useful to whom, and what/who does it shaft in the process. Once you start to find some answers to these questions, it's hard not to hate on the whole thing as it is being financed and promoted today.
