Yeah for the sheriff's office, but isn't messing with the Post Office a federal crime? In that case, I would just roll on the floor laughing!

Interesting to me that the Sheriff's office investigated and brought charges. Seems like Postal Inspectors could have thrown the book at them with federal charges, but they may be overwhelmed.

The dude who broke into my storage unit swiped my suitcase to carry the valuables. Of course my suitcase is AirTagged for travel purposes. A few hours later I was walking through a mini-warehouse lot with some undercover cops until I saw a guy walk out of one of the buildings carrying a box labeled in my handwriting. Cops took over from there.

I should do that since only 50% of the mail sent to me ever reaches me. But the usps always delivers packages to me with no problems.
