relax, #windows users are used to it. I use #emacs with the #magit #git porcelain all day, and each operation is like that: unnoticeable delay on #linux, several seconds on Windows.

When I was in the police control room, the software we used for logging calls was all keyboard accessible and I *loved* it. I could wiz around, sending jobs off quick and easy.

I find now, so much software/websites are lacking this functionality. Even "simple" tabbing from one box to another doesn't work often. It's really frustrating. I think it's why I like the sound of #emacs, but just haven't got the time to learn it properly.
