Thinking about setting up a #gotosocial instance as a possible alternative to my current Mastodon instance. Seems quite straight forward to run as a self-contained single (podman) container, which is an approach I have come to like more and more. I already run my own #Forgejo instance that way. When I have time to spare, I will give it a try 😀
Bei #Hetzner gibt es jetzt bei den Zusatzfestplatten für die AX Server nur noch ab 16TB, die kosten dann unter 30€.
Frage, wenn man einen Server mit 2 x 512 GB NVME braucht, für System und Datenbanken nehme ich gerne SSD und dann noch 2 x 8 TB SATA HDD für Daten, wo geht man dann hin für Hosting?
Gerne auch nen AMD CPU, kann aber auch Intel sein, 64GB DDR (ggf. ECC).
Welche Hoster sind denn vergleichbar low budget und erlauben zusätzlichen Einbau von den HDDs wie Hetzner?
