now you can see (as already available in several other browsers directy via the system processes), which page / addon is a performance hog :D

this lead me to try the #uBlock which again, according to about:performance is indeed more effective. and the overall browsing speed increased perceptible.

No troubles, no worries, i take care of my privacy. My children and family use also mostly free software. I'm also organizing install parties to help ordinary people to understand, choose and use free software. The road is long but the goal is clear and the travel joyful.

Recent Firefox makes connections just by hovering over a link! No CSS, no JavaScript, no prefetch required. Set network.http.speculative-parallel-limit to 0 to disable it.
