Do any of the #fediverse platforms have the capability of assigning roles?

For instance, I run a soccer team but suck at promoting. However I have people that are better at that task. I’d like to give them roles so they could post as the team, w/o giving them MY login info. They would need their own account & be managers of the team account, I guess.

#facebook has this capability but #Insta doesn’t. I’d rather not use either anyway.

I’d love it if #Pixelfed or another #fedi platform did!

Funktionieren Friendica-Gruppen mit Pixelfed-Accounts? Können die Gruppen Beiträge von Pixelfed teilen?

Ich habe eine neue Gruppe / ein Forum erstellt. Es ist ein öffentliches Forum, also der Konto-Typ ist Gemeinschaftsgruppe > Öffentliche Gruppe.

Die Gruppe hat nun auch schon ein paar Mitglieder, viele von Mastodon, einige Akkoma-, Friendica- und auch ein Pixelfed-Account.

Von Mastodon, Akkoma, Sharkey u.a. klappt es ja soweit gut, dass deren Beiträge im Forum landen und der Foren-Account die Beiträge automatisch teilt, wenn sie den Account mit @ taggen.

Nun hatte aber ein Pixelfed-Account (der auch Mitglied der Gruppe ist) einen Beitrag erstellt und die Gruppe getaggt. (dieser Beitrag). Da hat es dann aber nicht geklappt mit dem automatischen Teilen.
Das scheint daran zu liegen, dass Pixelfed die Accounts anders taggt, jedenfalls wird der Link hinter dem Tag auch anders angezeigt (in der Form: https://pixelfed.de/@koeln@anonsys.net )

Was allerdings seltsam ist, ist dass ich den Beitrag dann auch nicht nachträglich mit dem Forenaccount manuell teilen konnte. Er wird zwar normal angezeigt, aber beim Klick auf "Teilen" passiert nichts. Ich konnte ihn vom Forenaccount aus nur als Zitat teilen. Von meinem normalen Friendica-Account aus (dieser hier, Kontotyp persönliche Seite) konnte ich es dagegen normal teilen.

Hat jemand schon Erfahrung damit?

Wow #pixelfed has exploded. It's gone from being a few familiar faces to an actual functioning platform with a deep and rich vein of content. I am determined to try and take some better photos to post on there. Whilst I love pictures of food and cats, I'd love to see some more 'different' / 'interesting' photos. There are a few excellent very professional accounts on there (with beautiful photos), but also a lot of people like me who will see something and think 'that's cool' and take a snap of it. These platforms are powered by people like you and me and and that's the sort of thing I'd like to see more of. If you have pics you've taken that you sometimes revisit and think others might like to see - give it a go! I'm still finding my way, but you can see who I already follow and I'd love some suggestions if you have any. 😊

I left #Facebook ~8yr ago & then #twitter for #mastodon. She’s on #FB & #Instagram & is exploring #BlueSky. We both just joined #Substack.

We’re looking for good decentralized social networks that aren’t owned by billionaires. I miss the FB feel sometimes, so any info on Friendica is appreciated.

#Pixelfed is getting talked about on TikTok as an alternative to #Instagram.

Almost every video about it has people in the comments saying "Why do I have to pick a server? What does that mean?"

Either people are just dumb beyond help, or we need to do better at onboarding people to the #fediverse.

Edit: I love the ideas and discussions this post is stirring up!

Is an ID change also a `Move` but under the same domain? Can #Mastodon, #Pixelfed and others handle that, even if the URL stays the same?
