And a german weapon manufacturer did it again and is in the news. SIG SAUER is selling weapons to countries they are not allowed to do it. Just this time it looks like they tried to cheat the government and not included them. Hard to believe, most of the time the government was itself involved in such businesses. Heckler & Koch, FRITZ WERNER how can it be that their weapons are involved in all conflicts around the world when there are so strict regulations about their exports. The history of FRITZ WERNER is really interesting. It was even a 100% government owned company. Today they are not selling weapons anymore to shady states, but sells whole factories and licenses to produce weapons which is not controlled by export restrictions.

So facebook's pre-filtering - where you have no influence to or even can't see it - can have a massive influence on your emotional state.
Let's say there is an election coming up and a government brings Facebook to manipulate the people to be in a good willing emotional state before the election. :dazed
We show, via a massive (N = 689,003) experiment on Facebook, that emotional states can be transferred to others via emotional contagion, leading people to experience the same emotions without their awareness. We provide experimental evidence that emotional contagion occurs without direct interaction between people (exposure to a friend expressing an emotion is sufficient), and in the complete absence of nonverbal cues.

Mehrere Medien berichten, dass der BND jahrelang Daten an die NSA weiterleitete, die von einem Datenknotenpunkt in Frankfurt stammen. Eingeleitet habe diese Kooperation die rot-grüne Bundesregierung. Am Ende wurde sie zu "heikel".
Bundestagsabgeordnete beziehen einem Medienbericht zufolge mindestens teilweise externe Internet-Adressen von Verizon. Damit wird mutmaßlich der NSA ein einfacher Blick auf den Traffic der Volksvertreter gegeben. Und das ist kein Einzelfall.

Habe ein neues Diensthandy Micro$oft/Nokia Lumia 630 mit M$ Win8.1 heute erhalten. Habe es mir selber ausgesucht um vor allem mal die Verwaltungsoptionen zu testen, aber bis jetzt ist es eine ziemliche Katastrophe und noch schlimmer als erwartet. Ich habe nach 5 Haken die ich weg-geklickt habe womit Daten übermittelt werden sollten aufgehört zu zählen. Die GUI zum Konfigurieren hat mich nicht wirklich umgehauen, da fand ich Jolla um einiges schicker und ansprechender. Diesem Flat-Design Wahn kann ich immer noch nichts abgewinnen. Es sind massenweise Apps installiert, die 26 vorhandenen Updates für diese kann ich aber nur installieren, wenn ich mich vorher mit einem Micro$oft Konto anmelde.
Aber beim Einrichten eines M$ Exchange Kontos dann das Beste! Erst kommt kurz eine Meldung mit erfolgreich verbunden und dann die sehr hilfreiche Meldung:

It's not Bullshit-Bingo, it's called marketing!
But the difference with other marketing is, that most of this is true. The installation is really simple. If it is logical to configure I am not sure yet, but they made several changes that go into this direction and harmonized some parts. It also got really powerful and flexible. So everything to create still very bad and complex setups where you have no idea how it works after three weeks. But that depends more on the administrator. 😁

Letzte Woche gab es zwei Einbrüche direkt in der Nachbarschaft. Einmal der direkte Nachbar und einmal schräg über die Strasse. Vor ein paar Jahren wurde schon beim anderen direkten Nachbar eingebrochen und der hat sich seitdem total verriegelt. Was mich irgendwie wieder zu einem Thema von meiner TODO-Liste bringt: Offsite-Backup

in reply to Klaus Weidenbach • •Irgendwie noch schwer zu glauben. Vor zwei Jahren auf der CeBIT hatte ich das erste Tablet schon mal in der Hand gehabt und konnte damit rumspielen. Mittlerweile war auch ziemlich alles bereit und vorhanden, aber es konnte nicht genug Nachfrage generiert werden.
Hätte zu gerne auch eins dieser Improv Boards gehabt, aber irgendwie haben sie es nicht geschafft Interessenten zu bekommen die eins haben wollten. War damals auch schon sehr irritiert über die sehr niedrige Bestellnummer die ich erhalten hatte.
