Ruby what a mess
Installed vagrant yesterday and it worked. Installed some system updates today. Vagrant does not run anymore because of missing dependencies on a lib:

This is not the first version compatibility problem I had with #Ruby. WTF? 🤒

I am getting too lazy. There is nothing to do when Veewee is installing your VM images an prepares them for Vagrant. 😁 Why I did not use this before? Such a nice tool! Next getting Chef to provision the base boxes and set up a red
matrix dev machine for me to continue.

After the git pull last night I got this eMail.
The Red Matrix developers released update 1094 recently,
but when I tried to install it, something went terribly wrong.
This needs to be fixed soon and it requires human intervention.
Please contact a Red developer if you can not figure out how to
fix it on your own. My database might be invalid.The error message is 'Update 1094 failed. See error logs.'.
When I check Admin DB Update there is "No failed updates.". The field cr_expire from 1094 is present. Something else to worry about?

The European Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship wants to bargain stronger rules for a long time. It does not seem as if the Safe Harbor Principles get really followed or even cared about. How long does it still take to understand that there is no legal basis nor a foundation of a contract anymore to uphold this deal from 2000? This deal should get recalled.
They always say that TTIP should not weaken european standards and laws, but didn't they say the same about Safe Harbor? And what are the real conditions? Safe Harbor is even only a deal, not a legal contract! How would it be with TTIP? 🤒

redmatrix bietet zwar viele Möglichkeiten für solche Länder eigene unabhängige Infrastrukturen für die Anwendungsseite aufzubauen, aber für den Zugang selber brauchen wir dann wohl noch mehr. Es gibt schon mehrere Projekte für eigene und unabhängige Netze. Diese müssen unbedingt erfolgreich werden. Leider sind die Bedingungen für solche Infrastrukturen bedeutend schwieriger als auf der Software-Seite.

From its beginning, KDE has been a leader in innovation in free (libre) and open source software (FLOSS), but there is a threat to that leadership in one of the fastest growing areas of technology. The advantages of free and open development and use are clear for software; now closed and proprietary strategies have become standard in other kinds of technology. The need for technology freedom has moved from software to other more corporate-controllable areas—notably hardware and the Internet. As was the case when KDE started, community-developed, freedom-oriented technology is necessary to break the stranglehold of large companies that are more committed to managers and investors than to users. But this won’t be easy and it can’t be left to a few people. The entire KDE Community has a stake in the outcome. For that matter, this should be a concern to anyone who develops free and open software, anyone who uses it, anyone who benefits from it. And that includes just about everyone using technology today. New hardware has been announced that addresses the need for openness beyond software. Community help is needed to support a generous, far-sighted open hardware project involving mostly KDE people and certainly following KDE principles. Meanwhile they want to build two new nuclear plants in Hinkley Point, UK for around €19 000 000 000. Not including demolition or a final nuclear disposal site. It would never be lucrative without tax subventions, so this britisch atomic energy gets for 35years an assured price of €0,147/kWh. Wind energy plants that get build this year get an assured price of €0,093/kWh in Germany. WTF 🤒
